August is flying by and fall will be here
before we know it. I am so excited to
find that the church we attend will be
having it's first tea for ladies this fall.
August 21st we are meeting at a restaurant
to begin making plans and I was invited
to help. Of course I can help!
When we
lived in Colorado many of the
churches in Colorado Springs had
teas for the women.
I share a collage today of some of my
2021 summer bouquets. They bring me
so much joy as my garden is ever changing!
I love my new TEA TIME MAGAZINE
and if you live in Northern Ohio you will
love the tea rooms they feature in your
area:
charm and comfort: Quintealia's Tea Room in Burton, Sisters Tea Room in Mentor, Piccadilly Parlour Victorian Tearoom in Canfield, Macaron Tea Room in Woodere and Miss Molly's Tea Room in Medina, Clementine's Victorian Restaurant in
Omlsted Falls.
Oh yes, you are definitely going to be able to help! Sounds like fun for the ladies of the church.
ReplyDeleteI bet all of you are happily planning this special tea. Love the
ReplyDeletecollage of bouquets. Your flowers have been exceptional this year.
I live short of all the northern places you mentioned with Medina
being the closest. I'll have to check it out, thank you.
Very beautiful floral arrangements! Thank you. Enjoy your tea! V.
ReplyDeleteI've truly enjoyed your gorgeous bouquets this year. My favorite is the white and lavender one... stunning! So exciting for your church ladies to experience a fall tea. I know you'll be a most welcome planner.
ReplyDeleteBernideen, how great that you were asked to help with the tea. I know it is something you love to do. Your flowers are just beautiful and your garden must be amazing. They are so pretty. I love the one with the limelights. What a beautiful arrangement they make along with all the other flowers. If I picked my limelights and used that many in an arrangement, I wouldn't have any left in the garden!..Happy Weekend and thanks for your kind thoughts about the fire in our area. I always answer under your comment, and I just wanted you to know in case you weren't aware..Happy Weekend, my friend..xxoJudy
ReplyDeleteBreathtaking flowers!!!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful for you to be asked to help with the tea at your church. You are the perfect person!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flower arrangements! You really have a green thumb and the gift of gardening! And if I lived in Ohio I would definitely be visiting those tea rooms! We used to live in northern Ohio many moons ago, but at that time I was too busy as a Pastor's wife and raising our three little boys to be as interested in tea time as I am today. It wasn't as much in "vogue" as it is now. Thank you for sharing that information with us. If I ever make it back to Ohio, I will be checking those out.
ReplyDeleteI thought I left a comment earlier, Bernideen. You will be an excellent asset for the planning of the church teas!
ReplyDeleteYour bouquets are always stunning. 💕
Summer is going by way too fast for me.
ReplyDeleteI love all your beautiful bouquets.
Enjoy your ladies tea....fun for you
to help plan as well!
Take care,
Carolyn
We have a tea ministry at our church. It's called, "A Cup of Caring Tea". We serve about 4 times a year and the recipients are so special. We are planning one for September as a Military Tea for wives, mothers, sisters, aunts of active service members.
