MARCH GARDEN

I think I finally understand what
March is like in Missouri.  One
day is cold and then the next might
just be warm!  By warm, I mean in
the 50's - 60's.

It is very exciting to have some
color again and even to need to
mow the grass.

To see all the pretty daffodils
is such a welcoming sign.

I love when the Red Bud blooms:

I have a few early tulips coming up
too.  I love it all!

And lastly, a new little area where
the koi pond used to be.  I don't miss
all that work.

  1. Your new Garden where the fish pond was looks like it's turned out quite lovely. Our redbud trees are trying to bloom but we've had mornings for the past four or five days where it's been only 29 to 30°. I love seeing the color in your yard. My mini daffodils are just about finished and I don't really have anything else for color for quite a while. Too many deer eat too many things.

  2. Isn't the transformation from winter to spring such a beautiful time. All the colorful spring flowers begin to pop forth, and even with a chill in the air, there is a promise of warmer weather.
