Sunday afternoon I really lost it - I joined the masses enjoying an absolutely fabulous weather day buying flowers at Home Depot. The crowds were huge and the flowers lovely, the sun was shining and it was a time to buy - buy - buy. It's finally spring.
But on the way home after Home Depot, I heard the weather forecast for Wednesday was going to be "Cold Front Coming In With Snow". So I thought - oh boy, I don't want to put this stuff in the ground - where do we take it?
Fox gloves love chandeliers.....
I had put foil around each pot because I didn't want stains on my tablecloth.

What a lovely table you've set. All your photos are beautiful. This is my first visit to your site so I've been browsing around. You have created a lovely spot for your readers to visit and I'll definitely be back. I hope you have a great day. Blessings...Mary
ReplyDeleteYou are always so good at making beauty of necessity, in addition to the regular beauty you make. i am hoping to get my perennials in before it rains for the gazillioneth time! It's been cold here in NYS up until this week and mornings are still pretty chilly. I buy buy buy'd, too.
ReplyDeleteHello Bernideen,
ReplyDeleteYour flowers actually look very pretty in the center of your table! I love your shots with the chandelier and foxgloves; lovely! Your tea table always looks wonderful and I love those tea cups! Thanks for sharing.
Blessings,
Sandi
Such an enchanted garden in your living room! The foxgloves are just beautiful catching the shimmer of your chandelier!Another lovely teatime!
ReplyDeleteHow stunning! I love your indoor garden! And I am very partial to foxgloves! Love the large size of the centerpiece --- so lovely!
ReplyDeleteWow! This is extraordinary! What a wonderful way to bring indoors two beautiful things - a lovely tea party and a lush garden! Gorgeous flowers - adore foxgloves - I only had one to survive this past winter! Wish I had more - they are some of the flowers that speak to me of Cottage Gardens! Thank you for sharing this with A Return to Loveliness,
ReplyDeleteGod Bless,
Kathy
HOW LOVELY, AND A FINE IDEA BRINGING YOUR GARDEN INSIDE, ESPECIALLY WITH YOUR CHANGE IN THE WEATHER. YOUR TABLE LOOKS SO NICE, I THINK
ReplyDeleteITS A GREAT IDEA. I LOVE YOUR FOXGLOVES, MAYBE THEY'LL GET AS TALL AS TASHA'S. HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY, AND ENJOY YOUR CUP OF TEA. RIZZI
Those foxgloves are gorgeous! And columbine a close second. All the flowers made a lovely centerpiece. Snow danger will be past soon, I hope! I had to bring flowers inside last week, too - overnight, anyway.
ReplyDeleteWhat a grand idea to beautify the inside until the plants can go out. Everything looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteOh, I just love this! Beautiful!
