LAST OF THE QUEEN ANNE'S LACE for "Tea In The Garden"

Nights are getting cooler and cooler bringing with them the soon change in the leaves.  This week marks the first week of September and change is in the air.  We have had some more rain - welcomed and wonderful but did not cause any flooding problems.

Time for some Tea In The Garden and time to enjoy THE LAST OF THE QUEEN ANNE'S LACE.

Welcome to my backyard garden - this plant above is called Silver Artemesia.  I love it
for floral arrangements.

I am going to miss this garden soon
as fall moves in and then snow.

As you can see, I have set up a little table with a cup and saucer for each of us and since I am taking the photos -
you can sit in the chair!

  5. I rarely posted tea in the garden this summer with all the rain and we had another deluge today. I like your tea set with the autumn leaves, so perfect as this season is just around the corner. What I really love are the napkins and tablecloth. I put out my autumn decor today and like the change.

  17. Bernideen - I just love watching your garden change from season to season. Spring, Summer, Fall, and even the snows of winter - always a delight. Your post title this week strikes an "Anne of Green Gables" chord echoing Diana noting to Anne, "Here's the last of the Queen Anne's Lace" - in addition to the two china dogs which were favorite pieces in Anne's home during her first year of marriage to Gilbert in "Anne's House of Dreams". So - hmmmmm . . . may be the season for some Anne books if not the movie!
    Joy!

    1. Yes - I love that line where Diana Barry says that to Anne and puts it in her hair.
