RAINY DAY TEA IN THE KITCHEN

Today is Tuesday which means it is time for "Tea In The Garden".  One look out the window this morning told me that it wouldn't be a good idea today.  Rain seems to be in the forecast so I have set out a teacup for you here in the kitchen on the buffet:

I hope you don't mind being in the kitchen for a quick cup of tea this  morning.  As always, it seems summer is going by so fast.  Our world is in such turmoil I cup of tea will be a welcoming calm

I am sharing my three Sadler teapots in various shapes and sizes but all with rosebuds.

I am in a Facebook Group called Afternoon Tea Across America. There are also many Canadians in the group.   As part of the group there are occasional optional tea card exchanges and that is how I received this darling Queenly Egg Cover below.  If you are interested in this group you can find it on Facebook and join.

  2. Hi Bernideen,
I was just on my way out the door when I decided to check and you had your tea on here. I love your pretty Sadler teapots! The little rosebuds are so sweet. I haven't been able to do an outdoor tea yet. Perhaps one of these days I'll get it done. Love your pink buffet! Thanks for sharing and joining me for tea. Have a lovely day.

    Blessings,
    Sandi

  3. Dear Sandi,
we had several storms and heavy rain here. But now the weather cleared up and I have made my post in the garden. I hope you like a rest with book and ice cream. Thank you for your lovely tea time and for hosting this sweet event.
    Best greetings, Johanna

  6. Hi Bernideen! I am sorry you weren't able to go out into that awesome and lovely garden of yours today...but sometimes a free watering for a garden is always nice. : - )

Your rosebud china is so pretty - and I absolutely adore that tin box in the background. It's gorgeous.

    Thank you for hosting.

  7. Tea inside is fine, it's where mine has been the last couple of days. Every time I start something outside it pours - including when I picked blueberries!
I like your Saddler teapots especially for the size - perfect for one, or to share. :-)
