ROWAN MOUNTAIN ASH BRINGING SIGNS OF FALL

My Rowan Mountain Ash is already bringing the look of FALL to our front yard:

My Father In Law planted this in our yard many years ago and we thought it was dying but it still hangs on:

  1. The rowan mountain ash is very early with the orange berries, it looks indeed as an early autumn. Our neighbours have some of these trees, but no orange berries to be seen yet.

  2. What a lovely tree. Nice that your father in law planted it. He will always be remembered that way.

  3. Love your mountain ash, Bernideen! We used to have one but as I understand it, they are short-lived and indeed ours maybe lasted 15 years. Gone but not forgotten! :(

  6. Your yard is gorgeous!

We have leaves beginning to turn already. All I can figure is the cooler than normal Summer temps are confusing them?

  8. That does look like fall! I guess fall is on my mind, because just this afternoon I made a loaf of Caramel Apple Tea Bread. Bring on fall!
