YOU ARE QUEEN FOR A DAY for "Tea In The Garden"

Welcome to Tea In The Garden and I have picked You to be Queen For A Day:

Please have a seat in the chair and put your feet up (after you move the teacup of course)!

Today I am sharing a bunting I made last week with the cards I received in the Facebook group Afternoon Tea Across America in our Victoria Day card exchange.

I also am sharing an appliqued and embroidered vintage topper I found earlier this summer:

Please pour yourself a cup of tea.  We are on the side of the backyard garden by the entrance which features an old door.

In our card exchange we each put little tuck in gifts in the cards  and I received this Queen Elizabeth egg cozy from Vicki from Florida.  I love the red poppies that are appliqued.  I can't imagine doing this project.

Of course the garden has gone wild with Queen Anne's Lace but that is alright with me!

HAIL TO THE QUEEN!

  1. Oh how CUTE!!!!!

Bernideen you have outdone yourself, ma'am.

Two things keeping me from being able to do a tea post: my daughter had to borrow my camera and my little sister just had surgery yesterday, so I have to live teatime vicariously through all your bloggin tea sisters.

This "Queen for a Day" one is adorable - totally ♥ that cosy!

How clever of you to create bunting from your cards.
