I recently went to an estate sale on the 1/2 price day.
I got several vintage garden statuary
pieces for just $25.00 each.
I think the statue above is called "Summer".
This one below is on the side of
our house on the way to the back yard.
The teapot birdhouse was a sweet
gift from a friend:
The third one was this little boy who
we put in the back yard:
Do you know about estate sales? You can see

Those are great buys Bernideen. Our neighbor's household goods are going to be sold in an estate sale. I'll walk over to that one and see what it's like. Thanks for the link.
ReplyDeleteI love your statues Bernideen. There aren't many estate sales in my region. I would love to find some statues/ornaments for my garden. They look very at home in your beautiful garden.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful statues!
ReplyDeleteRight now I can only think of getting rid of things, but have a room in my house where I save to one day have an estate sale. What lovely statuary, nice finds!
ReplyDeleteHi Bernideen,
ReplyDeleteYour statues are gorgeous! I am going to google Estate Sales near Bellingham, Washington right now. Thanks for the info Sweet Friend! Blessings, Karen
Oh how I love your statues. They looks so good where you have placed them. As always your garden is amazing.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful rest of the week.
Mary
That's an interesting site...alas, no estate sales in my entire state!
ReplyDeleteSweet statuary! Makes the garden a little extra special...
You have some great finds, Bernideen! Love them! Your butterfly bush is really pretty too.
ReplyDeleteOh Bernideen, your statues are such great finds, and half price is even better! They make a lovely addition to your already beautiful yard.
ReplyDeleteHow fun Bernideen, they are all wonderful but my fav is the blue guy.
ReplyDeleteBernideen, your estate sale finds are amazing. Love the little boy and he looks perfect beside his gaggle of geese. I love estate sales the best. You can usually find better deals and more of them than at regular yard sales..Happy Week to you..Judy

ReplyDeleteI love the little blue boy and I wanted him and the little girl so bad, however knew I couldn't lift them to get them in my back yard, from the estate sale.
Your yard is so pretty with all your great statues and the fish pond
hope to see you at another sale this summer
Dear Bernideen, wow, you scooped up some great statues for your garden on that estate sale!
ReplyDeleteI especially like the chubby cherubs. These I could see finding a home in my own garden, too.
I want some statuary for my own garden for a long time, now, but always thought it would be out of my budget, but maybe the way to go is trying to get them at an estate sale like you did. Maybe you got me onto something...
Enjoy your new finds!
Warm regards,
Christina
Bernideen I love all the statues specially the little boy.. And I like the ducks... You have done so much work... Wish I had already started at mamas... One daywith kove Janice
ReplyDeleteBernideen, I haven't been to a *good* estate sale in a long time. Went to one years ago where they were selling *every*thing -- they'd even marked a 10-cent price on a near-empty bottle of mouthwash! Your lovely statuary reminds me of a dear woman I once worked with on an elaborate afternoon tea for 300 on her vast estate. She had lots of beautiful statues. (I must remember to come back tomorrow and leave a link to my new post - a real treat for tea lovers!)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful find! The little boy is so sweet! I have a few garden statues but now have to make sure they are not too heavy to lift. They all look pefectly at home in your garden!
