THINKING FALL NOW

Hello dear blogging friends!
Are you thinking fall yet?  It
is still plenty hot in Missouri but
yesterday I did begin taking out
fall decorations, etc.

I usually change this armoire several times
over the summer but this time I just
left my chintz out on display all summer.

Last Saturday I invited 3 ladies for lunch.
These are ladies I met through blogging
and Facebook before I ever moved to
Missouri and they are great fun!

I made a new tablecloth with some French
Pierre Deux fabric I found on Ebay.

New Friends:  Karen,  Janice and Gina

I also am happy to have my Quartz
kitchen counters done and a new
under mount sink.

 It seems the popularity
of the link party has diminished.
So with that I have decided
not do link parties anymore.

I WILL CONTINUE TO BLOG.

I will continue to check out other
bloggers and also hope you will
continue to come visit me!  I
want to thank each of you who
have faithfully participated here
for a very long time!

  1. Hi Bernideen! I have so loved joining your linky party each week, and always loved seeing your pretty settings. I will continue to visit you and hope you visit me, too. You're such a dear person and have been a wonderful hostess.
Your Fall decor looks so pretty, and I love seeing all your Fall-ish patterns. How pretty your new counters look. I'm sure you ladies had a wonderful time visiting at your pretty tea table.
    Thank you again, Bernideen! xxoo

  2. I'm not a blogger myself but I always enjoy reading your blog and seeing your lovely garden, so I'm glad you're going to continue blogging. I love that tablecloth. I never thought of looking for French fabric on ebay, but you know I will think of it now. We learn so much from others, thank you for sharing.

  3. Oh no. I have loved joining your link party and meeting other tea lovers. But I do understand and I am glad that you will still be blogging so we can enjoy your wonderful posts.

I have not started decorating completely yet; started adding a few touches here and there but this weekend hopefully, I will finish. :) Have a lovely day.

  5. Bernideen I will truly miss your gorgeous tea parties! I am sorry to see them go. I thank you for your comment today on my blog and I wanted to apologize for having in the past linked a halloween post to your party. I am sure I probably did it and I didn't realize that you had asked for no halloween. I justly have the same problem now with my link party. Thank you so much for hosting over the years! It was always a pleasure to visit!

  7. Good afternoon Bernideen! I have been missing for almost two weeks but I'm back now. I have hummed and hawed about starting my linky party up again but have decided not to. Too much going on in my life. It's sad to know you plan to shut yours down but I do know from past experience that it takes time and commitment to do the parties. We sure have enjoyed yours and I'm pleased to hear you will continue to blog and that you will visit your blogger friends. We have become good friends and I appreciate you and your stand for what's right in the Lord! I love your armoire and what fun to change it out whenever you want to. I imagine you are loving your new counter tops. I would love to get new ones down the road. That is a lovely group of ladies sitting there for tea! You are all blessed to have one another! Thank you for hosting these many years.

Oh I am going to miss one of my fav parties ever, dear Bernideen, but I guess that's life. Sometimes one has to say goodby to things that must come to an end.
All I can say is a thousand thanks to you for giving me the chance to show my little blog and my displays to God knows so many other people, that otherwise would have not seen it and for featuring me lots of times too.
May God bless you always and hope to see you each week.
    Big hugs,
    Fabby

  11. Bernideen, I'm so sorry to see it go, but I do understand. I'm just glad you'll still be blogging. Your beautiful site is a perfect place for all of us "tea ladies" to meet up.

  12. Oh dear. I have participated only once in all the times you have faithfully carried on with your party. However! I certainly enjoyed reading along and seeing what others were doing. I was guilty of comparisons and could not imagine my being able to contribute anything of value. Oh well. It’s been a good long run. I am so glad that you are going to continue to blog. What a beautiful table you set for your friends.

  13. Oh Bernideen,
I am sad you are no longer going to do linky parties but I do understand. I have been finding it harder and harder to post and link up. I have so enjoyed being a part of your Tea in the Garden and Friends Sharing Tea. I have loved seeing all of your pretties each week and you were the one who inspired me to blog. I remember your comment as being one of my very first - so thank you. I do love your transferware and new counter tops. Your friends are very dear and you are all so special. Thank you so much for being so committed to hosting parties for all of these years. Love you, Karen
