We have some resident Bluebirds who keep showing up at their house, but they don't stay in it at this time of the year. They just come and check it to make sure no one else is using it and if other birds show up they shoo them away! I did take a picture of one taking a bath in the birdbath this afternoon! I have never fed them mealworms, although I know they love them. I think around here in Florida they find plenty of other natural food that they love because they do love to stay around here. I love your photos! Really very pretty. I haven't seen any Goldfinches yet. We usually don't see them this early, but I will keep an eye out for them and get some finch seed when I see them. Hope you are staying healthy and warm this winter! Take care and be blessed.
ReplyDeleteI've got out the meal worms too and they go down fast. The titmouse eat the peanuts and also grab worms. A few rare Robins are here
ReplyDeleteand enjoying a hand out of worms. The suet and thistle are going down too in these bitter temps.
