A BEAUTIFUL DAY for "Tea In The Garden"

Today is my "Tea In The Garden" Blog Party.

On June 10th it will be my 100th "Tea In The Garden" Blog Post since I first started this blog party back in 2009.  I hope you will join in on that special day! If you are interested in seeing some past teas from my former Colorado garden just go to HERE.

I have been working in my yard and I think for the moment I have completed all my digging.  I think my knees have had just about all the fun they can stand.  In about a month we are having a patio put in the back which we are really excited about.  After the patio goes in - I will have to show you the backyard area.

I am sharing some photos taken late yesterday afternoon and a new antique Eastlake table for two that I got at an Estate Sale for just $20.00.  Estate Sales are really big here in Columbia and I have found several things lately.  Here are the lower details of the table and now I must be looking for some more of these old wooden chairs as I am short on chairs.

The tall skinny leaf greenery in this vase is bamboo which was planted in our yard by the people who lived here before. The people were Chinese and used the bamboo to hold up their tomatoes.
 We plan
to not let it run a muck.

The little English bone china 3 piece creamer and sugar with tray was
something I found in Denver before we moved.

You are invited to set up a tea in your garden, porch, sun room or patio and link it from your blog to this one. Here is a new logo you can post on your blog if you like:

  2. It must be exciting seeing the tea setting possibilities for your new gardens Bernideen. A little cool here right now with only daffodils and tulips blooming but I look forward to tea in my garden again this summer.
I look forward to seeing your finished patio and yard.

  11. Your tea in the is just so charming, Bernideen. What a happy place you have for tea, with your pond, gorgeous flowers and all your yard decor. Your new table and chairs were certainly a wonderful buy, and they went to the perfect person to love and use them. Thanks for hosting, and I hope I get better at remembering to come by on Fridays.

  12. This is so pretty, Bernideen. Such a lovely setting and your china is gorgeous. We are getting a heavy rain here this weekend. I guess the ground needs it but oh, for warm sunny weather....I am taking a short break this weekend from posting and will be back on Monday for my blog party. Enjoy your day.

  15. What a lovely idea to host a tea garden party, Bernideen. And Thanks for inviting me to the next one. I shall try to take some "tea photos" in my garden, too.

Hope you have a lovely week-end! Ours is filled with... losts of rain and cold wind. I almost feels like the end of winter again instead of the glorious sommer weather we had on mother's day.

    Warm wishes from Germany
