SUNDAY CELEBRATION

Many years ago my Mother
 In Law (who now lives
in Heaven) gave us her wonderful
nativity given to her by her
 parents (she was adopted).
 They were of German decent:

For us, Christmas is
totally a celebration
about the birth of Jesus Christ.

Matthew 1:18 says: "Now the
birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise:
When as his mother Mary was espoused to
Joseph, before they came together, she was
found with child of the Holy Ghost.

vs 20  ....."The angel of the Lord appeared unto him (Joseph) in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife:  for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost."

Luke 2:8  "And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.  And, lo, the angel of the Lords came upon the, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them;  and they were sore afraid.  And the angel said unto the, Fear not:  for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.  For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord."

And about the wise men:
Matthew 2:11  "And when they
were come into the house, they saw the young child  with Mary
his mother, and fell
 down, and worshiped him:  and
 when they opened their treasures,
they presented unto him gifts;
gold, and frankincense, and myrrh."

  2. What a lovely nativity!

My parents nativity is old, they bought it many years ago. I tell my mom I want it to be left to me, I love it so much. This reminds me of it!

Jesus is the reason for the season.
