AFTERNOON TEA OR HIGH TEA

I came across this fun article
today and think it will help
you understand the difference
between Afternoon Tea and
the evening meal called "High
Tea":

Do you see Dad over there
hanging up his coat?

  1. No, I missed father entirely until you mentioned him. I am amused by mother feeding the horse.

  2. Bernideen, thank you for this article you linked. This is one of my pet peeves, so I love it when people point out the differences. As she said, some places will incorrectly call the afternoon tea "high" tea to cater to those who don't know the difference. But I think that's wrong, I think they should educate their customers. Beautiful photo! Visiting your blog is always a treat!

I always love your comments and thoughts! If you aren't a blogger yourself you may have difficulties leaving comments. I recommend you go to http://google.com/accounts and open a google account which doesn't mean that you will have a blog (unless you want one)but will make it possible for you to make comments on all blogs! PLEASE USE A NAME in your google account AND NOT "Unknown" !
Sometimes people repost not realizing their comment posted! Go slowly when you post your comment - don't rush! It will not appear until it is approved. If a question is asked I will try to answer it here.
