Being in a different house this Christmas
means putting things in new places and
also buying an artificial tree that
fits into an 8 ft. ceiling.
Since all the live trees are really full, we
opted for an artifical 7 1/2 foot slim.

living room and a thrift Beatrix Potter
pillow from last year:
Last year we had the "Doll Doctor" repair my Mother In Law's
German nativity set. Marilyn did a great job restoring many of
the pieces which showed signs of deterioration.
I am hoping you will join me for Friends Sharing Tea
so I include this picture of my some of my
Friendly Village by
Johnson Brothers. I am on
the hunt for
the teapot!
I am sharing at:
Bernideen, I hope you find that Friendly Village teapot to go with the rest of your lovely things. I love your Beatrix Potter pillow. Even though I put a little brewed coffee in my tart, you don't really taste the coffee and the tart goes beautifully with a nice cuppa tea.
ReplyDeleteBernideen your Christmas tree is so beautiful and the size looks perfect in your new home! I love all your Christmas decorating and enjoyed seeing your set of Friendly Village! Thank you for hosting your party and have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Nancy
Dear Bernideen, wow, you went really all the way out decorating for Christmas! Looks like you really enjoy doing it!
ReplyDeleteI think it is so nice, that you spent the money to restore your Mother in Law's German nativity set, rather than "just getting a new one". Maybe I am nostalgic, but I like when people care about their heirlooms. I zoomed in and had a closer look at the figurines and really like that they are done in quite a detailed way. I wonder if they are handmade from wood?
Hope you enjoy many Christmas teas, have a lovely Advents time.
Warm regards,
Christina
Love the tall, skinny tree and all your decorations. It's funny, but I have gotten rid of decorations the past few years and yet still seem to have plenty. It looks that way for you too.

It's listed under Johnson Brothers. Perhaps you want to get an older one but this one says Made in England. Thought you may want to check it out. Good Luck if you bid! Have a Good Weekend! Karen

Dear Bernideen and friends. I haven't had much tea-themed to share lately, but thought you might enjoy my rustic gingerbread houses. They're inspired by Scandinavian gingerbreads and I think they're rather cute. Wishing you all a peaceful December and a Merry Christmas. Love, Mimi xxx
