Oh- Aren't they just beautiful? We get them for a few days here in late spring. I think they continue on north into MI for the summer. GREAT pictures- xo Diana
So nice to see you have made new friends in your backyard. I have to put a feeder up closer to the house now---but then the squirrels are so annoying. Love this post, as we don't get bluebirds here. Merry Christmas, Sandi
Awww, how sweet! I just love those little guys and have been wondering why they are not visiting my back yard. How lucky you are to have bluebirds! I have a sweet little Purple Finch female who has taken to the stick and straw birdhouse hanging in the front porch area. Her little tail is always sticking out of the hole!
I always love your comments and thoughts! If you aren't a blogger yourself you may have difficulties leaving comments. I recommend you go to http://google.com/accounts and open a google account which doesn't mean that you will have a blog (unless you want one)but will make it possible for you to make comments on all blogs! PLEASE USE A NAME in your google account AND NOT "Unknown" ! Sometimes people repost not realizing their comment posted! Go slowly when you post your comment - don't rush! It will not appear until it is approved. If a question is asked I will try to answer it here.
So cool to see the bluebirds! I never see them other than spring when they are looking for a place to raise their young.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of pretty birds, unknown on our side of the ocean.
