I love having a vase of flowers on
our entrance porch to greet guests!
I want to really enjoy every step
of the garden journey this year:
My biggest garden challenge lately is
learning to recognize seedlings. I
find some of them to be harder.
Yes, I marked them but when we had
some terrible rain storms my
system got a little discombobulated!
A warm and loving way to welcome guests!
ReplyDeleteYour garden is beautiful!
We that don't know how to garden can learn from you who do. Never thought about where a seed might go with heavy rains.
ReplyDeleteHi Bernideen, You have designed and planted a glorious array of flowers! I love the variety and the way you have planted them. You have an eye for design. The peonies are lovely. I am looking forward to my peonies blooming. Several of them are new and I haven't seen them bloom. If you have a chance, take a look at tree peonies and ITOH peony (specifically 'Bartzella.') They are amazingly beautiful. If you want floral design ideas, or just to see the most gorgeous gardens around, check out conradartglassgardens.blogspot.com for Larry's garden in WI. Also krensgarden-karen.blogspot.com for Karen's "Quarry Gardens" also in WI. I'm sure you know about Carolyn Aiken's gardens in Prince Edward Island too. Lots of beautiful garden blogs out there.

ReplyDeleteOh I love all your beautiful flowers and the flowers you put on the front porch. What a nice welcoming.
ReplyDeleteI always seem to have a lot of compliments from the birds. And, yes the wind does blow the seeds here and there.
Have a wonderful Mothers Day.
Mary
