Today's post isn't in the garden -
after 10" of rain we had sunshine
yesterday but the ground was very
soft and wet and today - well, more rain coming!
So here we are - inside and dry!
I am sharing some projects I have been
working on - the old fashioned decoupaging
of tins, clipboards, etc.
I love Edith Holden's books and her illustrations for May are wonderful. Welcome to May by the way!

Your teas, whether inside or out, are always so beautiful, Bernideen. The pansy teapot is a beauty and so are your decoupaged pieces. I don't own any of Edith Holden's book, but I love when you share them. Thank you for hosting and Happy May to you!
ReplyDeleteHi Bernideen...you know I love the book, and I love your tins! Perfect! I didn't know there was a movie/ video about Edith Holden...will definitely check that out! Have a lovely week and thanks for linking to Tuesday Cuppa Tea!

Those pictures by Edith Holden are just lovely - are they poetry books? I'll look for her books at the upcoming book sale. Nice work on the decoupage!

I love all things purple so I'm a huge fan of your pansy teapot. Mother Nature has been showering us with lots of rain too. Last week, flooding occurred in some areas of my town because of record-breaking rainfall. More rain is heading our way for the rest of the week. Thank you for hosting and stay dry!
ReplyDeleteEvery post of yours is a sweet fairy tale, thank you for sharing your treats and your sweetness with us, darling Bernideen !
ReplyDeleteWishing you a most lovely remainder of your week,
I'm sending blessings to you
XOXO Dany

Such a beautiful teapot, Bernideen. Sorry you got too much rain. Hope your area didn't have flooding.
ReplyDeleteHi Bernideen,
ReplyDeleteYour tea by the window is so lovely today. Your pansy pretties are gorgeous too! I am eager to have Tea in the Garden. I am just learning how to link up on Wednesdays. I was so used to Fridays. Lol. Thank you for hosting Tea Times. Have a Wonderful Week! Karen
Looks like you've been busy inside lately. We've had a deluge, too, me our yard is a muddy mess. Your teapot is lovely, quite a little treasure! Enjoy you're day! Zenda
ReplyDeleteBernideen, lovely as always! A tea table by a window looking out on a beautiful garden is just as nice as one IN the garden. Today I'm sharing muffins and my Hutschenreuther White Racine teapot.
ReplyDeleteBernideen, I looked for movie/video of The Diary and learned that it's a 12-parter, but Netflix does not have it. Wonder if I can find the series on YouTube. I'll let you know. Thanks for telling us about it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely first post for me to read. Our mutual blog friend, Marilyn Miller, pointed me in your direction. She indicated you relocated to Missouri. We are moving there ad well. We leave California in 18 days.
ReplyDeleteMy new blog, reflecting this change is at www.californiakickinit.blogspot.com.
Oh good, I see my friend, Annie, has left a post. I love, love that teapot. What a lovely find. From your post too, I have decided I need that book just to enjoy. I love the artwork sooooo very much.
