Sunday on Mother's Day - we had our
very first Hummingbird arrive by our deck.
It seems like a good time to celebrate
all the wonderful birds we love!
We have lovely singing house wrens
in 3 birdhouses hanging in our yard
and there is a Nuthatch in the teapot
birdhouse......I can hear tiny babies inside.
The Spider Wort was from my
Daughter In Law last year.
All the flowers she gave me to
help me get started in a new
garden - are doing well.
I am happy to report there are no
screaming "Chorus" frogs in
our pond right now.
If you would like to join me by posting a link
to your tea post - just link at the bottom.

Your teapot birdhouse is adorable. Maybe my favorite thing spotted all week! Glad the birds are all hanging with you and not here in NE Texas trying to make a nest on my front porch.

Bernideen, I'd so enjoy a nice sit in your garden, listening to the birds, looking at the flowers, sipping tea ... aaaaaahhh. (My cake today pairs beautifully with a strong cup of Assam with a tiny splash of milk.)
ReplyDeleteHi Bernideen. I just love having nesting birds...we have some in a birdhouse too and some swallows under the eaves. We should move them, but don't have the heart to! Love your peonies and pretty linen topper. Your garden is amazing! We have just spotted hummingbirds this year in the lilacs, so that is always wonderful! Have a wonderful week and thanks for hosting.
