Just a few photos from an Afternoon Tea we
 attended today in Boonville at Turner Hall.
  This was presented by the Cooper County 
Historical Society and was called
 "The History of Fashion" presented 
by Carolyn Miller from Sedalia, Missouri:

Two friends went with my Husband and I - 
 Gina Broadus and also Mary Sandy.
My husband was one of the few
men but he didn't care!

Carolyn shared a wealth of information
on fashion from 1880 -  1970!

The clothes are just beautiful, I can't imagine what the women went through back in the day. How beautiful they all were though.

Now I am ready to buy some vintage "pretty" clothing at our sales the next time we have some.

Good for your hubby for going with you to this fun tea event. My mom and I have dragged my dad to some tea events which he ended up enjoying. I just finished reading a book about what it's really like to live in the Victorian. The interesting book made me realize that I'm too fond of modern conveniences to live in the 19th century!

Oh I seen one of her displays at my daughter church once for a ladies afternoon brunch, she had all wedding dresses. I love seeing all her clothing etc
She is a very knowledgeable lady
