We are all so busy these days
and now we have summer activities and
gardening to keep us busy too.
With rain in the forecast this week,
I went ahead and did a quick photo
shoot on Monday because I wanted
to share a little table set we found
on Sunday. We are out under the peach
tree on the other side of the pond today.
Last fall my husband and I gave our peach tree
a major pruning. I think it is 15 years old and
had never been pruned and was in bad shape.
I have quite a few bird houses in the tree and
a house wren lives in the pink one. She's not
real happy with me today so here she is.
If you would like to join me today I
would love to have you participate
in my tea related blog party at the bottom
of this post.
Sharing at other blog parties as well:

I am also sharing this little Royal Albert
Coffee set that I found at an Estate Sale a few
weekends ago and yes we can use
it for tea if we want too.

Please help yourself to tea.
I have to tell you something funny that
happened Monday. A big yellow lab must
of gotten loose from who knows where.
He came up in our yard and got into the
back yard as I had the gate open. In no
time he jumped in our koi/goldfish pond.
He made a mess knocking some big
rocks into the water so you can imagine
my husband and I chasing him around the
yard and he was having great fun.
We had to block up the 2 openings
where we have yet to put in gates in
the back. You can see that in this photo.

would love to have you participate

And a little sign on my front porch:
Tuesday Cuppa Tea
Oh goodness, my link was added before I could put my title in, Bernideen! I was going to put, "Feeling the Blues". Oh well! I enjoyed seeing your new garden set and seeing your pretty tea on it. I could just picture you and your hubby chasing the lab around your yard. Thanks so much for hosting and enjoy your time in the garden. It all looks so pretty!
ReplyDeleteYou are in a good humor about the escaped lab. I have chocolate labs on either side of me and I like both dogs, but I don't much appreciate their scampering about in my garden or cocking a leg on the rhubarb! I yelled at my new neighbor that his dog, who was harrassing me as I attempted to get in my car, needed to be on a leash. He turned out to be the new pastor in town. (The neighbor not the dog. 🙂) Oh dear. At least, the dog has not been romping about on the loose since.
ReplyDeleteI love coffee pots for their longer lines...glad that they can also be used for tea. Yours is lovely!
What a beautiful garden! It's so nice to be able to enjoy the gardens this time of the year. :) Thank you for the delightful party.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely scene you have there. I had to laugh at the dog story, I have a big Black Lab who doesn't like the water! I have a question...when you use a tea pot for coffee do you clean it with anything special. It could be my imagination but I can always taste coffee if I put it in one of my other pots or cups. Again, it might just be me but if there is some magic cleaner I would love to know! I used to do a Tuesday Tea Time episode on my quilting/sewing blog but it is down right now for a reworking. Maybe the next time you have a link up. Love your blog, it takes me to a wonderful place of memories with my family. We have always said that just about anything can be dealt with if a cup of tea is included.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting!Love your Chintz and your gorgeous teacups!Your garden is amazing as ever!Hugs!Maristella.
ReplyDeleteHi Bernideen...your garden is looking lovely! Love the chintz teaset! We miss having a peach tree...nothing better than those you grow yourself! Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteYour new garden table is darling and I'm sure many teas will be set out upon it. Hope the pup didn't do too much damage. He must have upset the koi a bit; poor things! Your yard is lovely. Thanks for the party, Bernideen.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sandi
Bernideen, your garden is really beautiful. Love the fence and the archway against the green lawn and your wonderful flowers. It must be so rewarding to sit out there and take it all in. You have certainly done a magnificent job on your pretty cottage. That little white set is just precious as it sits in your garden. Enjoy your tea..Happy Wednesday..Judy
ReplyDeleteAs imagens são lindas!
ReplyDeleteYou really found some great buys. I can just imagine the dog chase. Love that sweet porch sign. Have a great evening.
ReplyDeleteHi Bernideen, I adore your little table! Really, your YARD looks gorgeous, just amazing. We had our neighbor's German shorthair jump in our pond when she got loose one time! Quite an experience. And I know from experience that labs love water. We used to have a swimming pool and a lab and she loved being in the pool. Best to protect your pond though!
ReplyDeleteFirst the frogs and now the lab. The animals just can't stay away from your charming garden. Love your new white table! Thank you for hosting and have a great week!

ReplyDeleteYour newest table set is wonderful
I also love the chintz tea set sitting out there under the peach tree among all your beauty in your yard
Gorgeous, Bernideen! And how I would love to have your lovely peach tree! Since my post this week is Restaurant-Style Mexican Rice - Oven Method, I linked a post from my first month of blogging, February 2010.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you do it, Bernideen. The weather has been so atrocious...and your yard is all done and beautiful. We are still a disaster here, with blown over green house and plants struggling that have been planted.
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh at your birds. We are doing some remodeling in the yard, and the disruption has them more than just scolding us. Lovely vignette, and someday I want to come and have tea in your garden, lol. Sandi
Your garden looks beautiful...
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful vignette on your tea table! The flowers are beautiful and it's always a treat to visit your blog. Lots of pretties!! I can only imagine the time your husband had trying to get that lab out of the fish pond! Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteYour setting is so beautiful, Bernideen. I love your table and your teaset looks fabulous....Christine
